Had to Google that. Apparently it's just Italian for meatballs? Would the sauce be considered marinara?
Marinara ? No . Look up the Italian definition of that

Just a relatively simple tomato sauce with some basil and such

The meatballs are beef and Italian sausage, oregano, raw eggs, chopped kale, lemon zest, rye flour, almond flour, bread crumbs, salt, homemade pesto, olive oil and plenty of Parmesan cheese formed them to tennis ball size. See the early mix above.

Drool. Like'a big'a fazoole.

Cooking a Poor Man's Dinner tonight: par-boiled diced potatoes fried with some kind of inexpensive meat, onions if you like them, plus any sort of vegetable you may have.

Tonight it's red potatoes, pork chorizo, a yellow onion, frozen peas and corn, plus some oregano and salt and pepper. From the smell, I may have overdone it with the oregano.

I guess I should. My Sicilian nanna just opened a can. Fresh vegetables were expensive in Idaho.

Aloo Gobi (Cauliflower and Potatoes) for dinner last night. It was the first time I made this dish and it turned out pretty well. Going forward, I'll make it again and add my touch to it. While the spices are somewhat numerous, the dish is simple and not very time-consuming to put together.

No meals on wheels due to snow, ice and cold weather. 6F now, warmest day for the last week. Been -20F lately.

Had some frozen fish filets and popped them in the oven. Fish sandwich today.
