What are you doing right now?

Today im awaiting my brand new Android phone replacement. Getting it for free, off Roger's Canada website.My current phone only 3 years old, but past two weels im getting issues where it turns on bit the screen stays dark. Googled and Youtube how to restore screen, but it has happened 8 times including today.
Some online info calls it the black screen of Death...so no warranty, i just saw a free no charge New smartphone upgrade and placed my order.
PReviously did a bit of yard work, keeping an eye on my Husky and for the FedEx truck from the front yard.
Im itching to go for a long walk ( daily steps of 4500 to 6500 ), go to library and grab three dvd movies.
And buy my $4 Saturday lotto ticket for the $46 Million.
By the way, in Canada, we get to keep all lotto winnings.
The Fed Govt does not collect tax on lotto winnings...not considered Income!😃 id be happy to win even $10,000....but 1to $3 Million would be peachy.
I could finally go buy that Birthday burger king combo i wanted April 4th but never got.

Well, in Vancouver, average home is $1.5 million.
One bdrm condo, $550,000 up.
A City lot is small, you pay thru the nose just for the lot value.
$7500/$8000 annual property tax, less for seniors over 65.
People buy the $1.5 M homes, but then renovate another $150K or even $300k.....google Vancouver Canada Real Estate Homes for Sale....you will see what i mean.
Super pricey rip off here.
And wages are lousy.

Actually, she did fine. Girls are better to teach than boys I think. They listen and don't have much ego invested.

We drove around a church parking lot for a 20 minutes then I drove us to a semi-rural neighborhood where she practiced. Some folks might have been worried we were casing the neighborhood but no mailboxes were harmed.

Take care of yourself.
Drink coconut water, can buy from many supermarkets, Walmart, probably even gas station marts, etc.
Or gatorade. Eat advocado, yogort, bananas for the magnesium.

Stretch . Use either ice packs or heat on the sore muscles. Use a hot water bottle if you have one. Or fill up a plastic bottle with warm/hot water and wrap a tea towel around it.
Sip water, dont guzzle it.
Been there, done that.
I had heat exhaustion and muscle cramps really bad at least twice. Low blood sugar cuz i barely ate, so i felt a headache or nauseous.
Takes time, sit or lay down, relax, drink fluids , it will pass.
 
My new smart phone arrived.
I just had a coffee, now about to go walk the Huskysaurus in the sunshine.

Bit breezy out there, only 15C at 7:30 pm here....but it's Sunnnnyyyyy.
The air is fresh and clean, kirby been a good boy, we go frolick in the sunshine and pee on trees.
Then come home, i have more coffee, he has his cookie, we make googly eyes at each other.
 
I am eating Chinese food for dinner and telling my parents about the 17 year old lube tech at work that backed into a brand new car with his truck on Thursday night/Friday morning at 2am in the shop. He claims he seen someone’s shadow and got over to avoid whoever was walking behind him but there was nobody else on premises at 2am. Needless to say the owners weren’t happy because now that car can never be sold as new. They also said now shop use cuts off at 8pm when sales leaves and nobody in the shop alone working on their cars there has to be another technician there at the same time. So basically they ruined it for everybody.

Dealership needs to look out for themselves and stop employees from costing them money over and over from situations like that.
 
Waiting for Tylenol to kick in after replacing the rear strut assemblies (quick-struts) on my daughter's 2009 CR-V in our driveway so maybe I'll get a little sleep. Need to replace the front struts and CV axles (never replaced CV axles before, but doesn't look too complicated... famous last words).

I'm getting too old for this :poop:.

Currently waiting to hopefully not get hit with severe thunderstorms and tornadoes… I prepared yesterday and put stuff away. Also made sure the oil level was good on the generator and started it and ran it for a little while to let it warm up. I am prepared just in case…
