If you let a 17 year old have run of your shop at 2am...You deserve whatever mayhem ensues.

I've ran quite a few shops (Shop Foreman/Manager) before starting my own business.....The first thing I'd do is stop any afterhours activity when I'm not there.

I agree 100%. We have also had issues with after hours thefts of other technicians tools who we have a suspect for but couldn’t ever prove because no shop cameras. Luckily I lock my stuff up but some other not so lucky techs don’t. I do like being able to work on my own stuff after hours or on Saturday but honestly I’d rather not risk it and just work on it at home. I know someone who lost their whole shop because they let someone in there after hours who was welding and their buddy spilled gas and the whole place went in flames.
 
Just bought tickets to go see HARDY in concert Friday night at the Orion in Huntsville AL. He is definitely not for everyone but my wife and I like most of his music. Should be an interesting show; hope we don't get rained on. Since 2022, at the Orion my wife and I have seen:

Sore. Began my sprinting interval training now. A long way from last year and even further from the good old days. Oh well, the hardest part is starting.... but mostly the next day......

I have been working a lot with my youngest daughter on her driving. She passed her driver's license today, first try with a few deductions though.

Then took my oldest daughters bf for a side by side ride. We had to take the chainsaw and clear several trees that came down this spring. So far haven't found any ticks on me......

Now, I have a veggie mix on the gas grill, steaks and pork chops ready to go on next. A cold fake Corona with lemon to seal the deal.

Tomorrow, I start my new job with the same organization. Got a promotion, so have to move my garbage over to a new office. I gave the staff fair warning that I have a poor taste in humor and sold my political correctness for beer money.
