What are you doing right now?

I had a problem with mice in my garage and once I caught them, even double- and triple-bagging them in Ziploc bags wasn't enough to keep the garbage can from stinking after a few days. One Sunday I found that I'd caught another victim but I wanted to mow the grass before deciding what to do with it, so I dumped the carcass under the tree out front, and went inside to change into my mowing clothes. I came out maybe 15 minutes later to find that the mouse was gone. This happened several times after that. I don't know what was finding them, but something was taking over the disposal for me. The mice were stiff when I dumped them out of the trap so I don't think that they were just stunned and recovered and ran away but I guess that's a possibility.
Many birds are always watching with their keen eyesight. Could be birds or small hungry animals in the area.

Just getting back for the evening. I went to work and then got home and we got food and went to shovel out dad’s truck. The guy that runs the lot plowed it all in front of his and another guys truck probably because they are behind on rent lol. My dad actually agreed with me for once and said that I was smart for buying a square point shovel a few years back because it came in handy with some ice pieces. He’s like I never saw a use for a square point shovel before tonight so I gotta say you actually were on to something when you bought them. I said I know I was lol. I use the square point more than the regular shovel because I like to use the square point as a scoop and everything besides digging. Mom broke our only remaining regular snow shovel from 2004 so time to buy a new one. They don’t last forever the other two broke last year. Plastic lasting 22 years is a record in my opinion. I’ll pick up a few snow shovels at the end of the season when they go on sale.

Reading about sludged engines again. I don't know why I'm so fascinated because I don't have the problem. Seems quite a few people don't change their oil and then blame the manufacturer of the car or truck who won't warranty a new engine.

I’m chilling at work. There’s a lot of work but also a lot of people called and rescheduled their appointments for next week because supposed to snow 1-5 inches today and this weekend so everyone is going crazy again I guess lol.

Picked up our new to us rigs yesterday. 2020 1500 Laramie and 2021 GC L limited. So far so good.

Today we took the 3500 and 3 horse bumper pull to the city as one of our horses needed some treatment at the university vet college.

My niece had to get a jump start when leaving work. Her Jetta has 122K and came with a Duralast Gold H5 battery dated 01/23. She bought the car used last year and will see if Autozone can do anything regarding the warranty but I don't have my hopes up.
If it has a date code on it they might honor the warranty if it tests bad on their tester.

BTW - check the parasitic current draw after the car has been off for 30+ minutes ... could be an issue draining it. Should be around 25 mA or less.

It’s unusual for me but it’s after 8am and I’m still lying in bed. Usually I’m up and moving around before 7. But it’s a cold -12C outside and it’s nice and warm under the blanket 🤓 Thankfully my dog is feeling equally lazy this morning and hasn’t barked to go out yet. Although he has gone as long as 20 hours between going outside so he can hold it quite a long time!

I’m chilling. It’s snowing again. I’m wondering how much will accumulate this time. My friend wants to go to the mall but I’m not going to go anywhere in the snow especially since the side roads never got plowed and are still ice. Also I’m trying to avoid spending money but when we are going to stores that sell colognes and deodorant and soap it’s hard to avoid that lol.
