In case anyone was wondering, we got out at 6:21PM and the inventory went very well. Lower overall on hand inventory compared to last year as well as a good overage compared to what the office showed. Just have to spend some more time focusing on less write-ins for next year.At work while an outside company does physical inventory. Our retail counter is closed and we had minimal service appointments today. I get to answer any questions and open up the bulk oil tanks and turn on the r123a and r1234yf machines so they can check levels in those.
And it's fixed. Apparently I didn't do the pilot-relight process correctly. So now I'm waiting for a tank of hot water to take a shower.Waiting for the plumber to show up to see why my water heater doesn't.
Fortunately, I found out last night when brushing my teeth, and not this morning in the shower...![]()
That's a "dangit!" moment for sure, but a $250-ish plumbing call out vs a $2k+ job is a lot better. And it's fixed. Apparently I didn't do the pilot-relight process correctly. So now I'm waiting for a tank of hot water to take a shower.
They have the option to pay digitally if they aren’t happy and then they still pay the exact amount right down to the penny instead of the rounded off version. Canada got rid of the penny in 2012 and a lot of people were freaking out at first but now everyone has gotten used to it. I notice nowadays that very few people pay cash for things anymore. I don’t even carry cash anymore (except when people tip me for my walking tours, but I throw that cash in the bank instead of spending it)A funny thing just now at my local Dollar General. A sign on the cash register says no pennies... it's a nothing burgerbut the house always wins...
Seen many exchanges.
Lady owed 9 cents gets a nickel instead of a dime...time and time again the customer got screwed...
Ain't that neat
Yes true but it reminds me of the CV19 no change scam of the pastThey have the option to pay digitally if they aren’t happy and then they still pay the exact amount right down to the penny instead of the rounded off version.
