I’m eating dinner and getting ready to go to the semi truck place to turn in dad’s brake shoe cores. I turned over 11 hours today so I’m just taking it easy.
How many hours you turn in a week ?
Is flat rate better for you ?

With my 16-17 hour fastings there are many days where I don’t eat past 2pmI don’t eat past 4 PM.
I’m not kidding.
Firing them will explain it pretty well.Wondering how it is that I can explain to someone that they need to 1) document changes in our monthly process (which they perform) and 2) use the new documentation template, and what I get back is documentation of the way the process *used* to be done and on the wrong template.
Yesterday I held the door open for a lady in her early 40s. She was most likely high society... her expression would best summarized as gobsmacked.
She paused a few seconds and graciously thanked me and was in utter shock. Seriously so.
I always hold the door open or help folks whenever possible. By the shock I see i assume it's no longer commonplace.
Makes sense if you are talking about @AutoMechanicChivalry is not dead, but it's on life support.
Younger women don't even want this kind of stuff, social media has many brainwashed that all men are predators of some sort. You couldn't possibly hold a door for her without some kind of evil ulterior motive.![]()

Last week it was 46.6 so over the 40 per week. Right now I’m sitting at 62.6 for the pay period. Been working hard today. Flat rate seems to be making me more from what I can tell. How many hours you turn in a week ?

Ouch. My dad was a machinist for a bit and he had an apprentice who was about 17 or 18 and my dad turned away for one minute to go get a tool and the guy drilled a hole through his hand with the drill press. Dad was fired on the spot after they made him clean up all the blood. That was in like 1979 or 1980.Good job, Blake! Keep it up! Don't rush the job and keep yourself safe. I had a workplace injury when I was an 18 year old apprentice; and I've never been the same.
But if it was discontinued then it’s probably the very last one that store will ever have. They have been patiently waiting for 4 years to sell it and right now they’re probably partying with excitement that it finally soldJust left the convenience store and boy was I excited when I seen the Speed Stick Fresh deodorant there I was like holy crap. I brought it to the register and made it mine lol. I haven’t seen it in about 4 years or so ever since Musk got discontinued too. Needless to say I’m excited. I hope he keeps regular stock of it because it was the last one. They had tons of Irish Spring though. Man I’m happy as heck now. That’s the second best scent besides Musk.
Funny the store actually just opened about 4 months ago lol. Who knows how long it has been in storage but I just know that it now lives in the AutoMechanic deodorant collection for the rest of its life. But if it was discontinued then it’s probably the very last one that store will ever have.
