The dermatologist got ahold of me with that crazy cream late last year. Looked like I was a nuclear accident survivor for weeks. Got away from her asap. Once you go to a dermatologist they try to slide you into regular visits even though I made it 60 years without one. Nope!

She said when you get over 60 your face grows stuff like a garden especially if you worked in the sun in your youth... I worked not only in the sun but very high up, I'm good except for the stuff that grew back...

I’m having a new windshield put in the Civic right now so I’m walking around the area getting my steps in while it’s being done. I should have gotten it done 4 years ago when I bought the car. The windshield is so badly pitted that you can barely see out of it when you are driving into the setting sun! 
You're at a tough age. There are more men than women on dating apps. Probably 1/2 the women your age range are either in college, just out of college and the majority but not all, of those women want someone college educated. Maybe the dating scene sucks in Roanoke?
