This is graphic footage of that ill fated day....I rolled up to her house that day and took a picture as I had a bad feeling.
I blew the horn and she came out and said plans have changed..I am taking the Rogue out and the dog..park over there...
Like a crying school girl I asked where are we going...she said the everglades.... Uh okay.....

I figured if the puppy was going how bad could it be??? Uh duh...
The Rogue was actually nice and I was surprised as usually the whole world are Nissan bashers. It was used and looked new inside... To be continued...

Continued......

So we set sail in the comfy Rogue. The chill was in the air on a very hot April Florida day..
After 40 minutes of absolute silence. I Iooked back at the dog Chimmie and he was as nervous as I was and telepathically he suggested I keep my trap shut ...

A few minutes later Zipper Head as I fondly called her blurted out for me to keep quiet as I talk too much with her demonic blood shot eyes and her teeth deeply embedded into her lip. I haven't said a word since we left. At that time I knew the end was near..

Another hour went by and I started to think she was looking for...

I spent the day in Niagara on the Lake interviewing 4 people for a summer job at my company as a tour guide at Niagara Falls. It’s a 160 mile round trip for me to get there so it’s cheaper on gas to take the Civic but way more fun to take the Vette. Today I took the Vette 😎

Indeed, they will. Fortunately, I have Jose. I got put onto Jose by my neighbor, no idea how they found him, but he saw me watching him work across the street, and he came over and gave me his card.

I kept the card. A year later I called Jose out of the blue in regard to a 10"-12" 30 plus foot tree that had completely died out front of my place. I had to leave a message. He called me back a few hours later. To my surprise he was already outside my house looking at the tree when he called back. I was expecting at least a $1500 to $2000 bid, and I already knew from the neighbor he was reasonable. He said in broken English "for fiddy". Not sure I had heard him correctly I responded slowly "Four hundred Fifty dollars?". He answered "Jess". I could hardly believe my ears, but in a @Zee09 moment I said, "How about 400?" "DEAL!" says Jose, extending his hand with a big grin behind it. He then took out the tree, in the dark, in the rain, for 400 bucks, in about an hour and a half, and even did a nice clean up job.

Everybody needs a Jose.
 
I’m wide awake at 1am after being woken up by a huge thunderstorm here. The lightning strikes sound like they’re happening very close to me 😬

The weather here is transitioning from winter like yesterday (we had a couple of inches of snow, then freezing rain) to summer weather today (heavy rain and lightning now, but going up to almost 70 degrees this afternoon with sunshine)
