What are you doing right now?

Collectables in video games is a poor mechanic IMO. Replaying the original Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas PC game, a 20 year old game. Bought the game on day one (lol thanks for not checking ID compusa for a rated AO* game) but just ran though the story missions and side missions. Didn't care for the collectables, side jobs, etc.

Planning to 100% the game but not without having a gaming guide on another screen to find collectables. Since it's a huge map consisting of 3 main cities and it's supposed to encourage exploring the cities it becomes frustrating.

*The original release ESRB rating changed from M for Mature to AO for Adults only because of the controversial 'Hot Coffee' minigame mod. It was coded in game and needed a simple hex edit to enable the minigame which landed the game developer in hot coffee.

I’m deciding if I want to take the Monday and Tuesday off for my birthday in April or if I want to do like Friday Monday and work on my birthday or what lol. Probably going to do Monday and Tuesday off. That way we can have a cookout lol.

I'm watching 'Tremors' because nothing beats '80s schlock. Yes, the movie was released in 1990 but it was made in '89 and is as '80s as it gets. The movie has two Jeep Commanche in it. Earl (Fred Ward)and Valentine's (Kevin Bacon) light blue one and a red one. After the movie came out I built the blue one with all the accessories based on a Matchbox model. I'm not sure where it is but I will find it one of these days. The movie was filmed near Lone Pine and Olancha.
Correction: I was mostly wrong about the vehicles in 'Tremors'. The blue one is a Jeep Gladiator SJ and the orange one isn't in this movie. I suspect it's in one of the lousy sequels. The Gladiator doesn't have the standard bed. Instead, it has a more narrow bed that's less wide than the cabin. I think it may be called a step bed. I don't know why I keep confusing the Gladiator and the Commanche. Maybe it's because the Gladiator is related to the Cherokee. and I can keep the tribes straight. There was also a Wrangler Apache. It's confusing.

Crashed the couch with a cold. Was taking the day off anyhow but this was not how I wanted to spend it. Not sure what is worse, car shopping or a head cold.

Still flipping through ads, would be nice to just find something and get another car in the driveway. Lots of planning at the moment, who gets what car. Whats worse, an old Caravan or a 2wd truck? :ROFLMAO: gawd do I hate NH rust.

Time to break the news to you, my friend.
My birthday is in April too. Does anybody care including me? No- well wait let me correct myself.
Its on Tax Day so Uncle Sam cares but nobody else does.
The birth has long grown stale.
When you are young you are the center of attention. When you graduate HS. others care because
you remind them of themselves at that age. College? by that time, you have lost 75% of the people that care.
When you graduate you have lost 98%. Your life from there becomes a meaningless cesspool of utter despair.
Of course, you can attempt to rectify your self-absorbed self on social media but if you fail to entertain the masses nobody cares.

After that it's a long and wicked spiral to mediocrity. By then only the doctors want to keep you alive so they can suck every dime out of you. Your wife and kids all know you are a loser. Only your dog cares because you feed him.
Don't despair though. In death even less care.

Other than that, have a wonderful day.

Well I took off the Monday and Tuesday Jimmy boy lol. Birthdays and all holidays are always a big deal. I need some mental health days anyway that or lots of alcohol LOL.

Finally got the HVAC replaced in my house. After costing me nearly $2500 in repairs and maintenance last year, it was time to retire the old girl. All told, cost $8500 (after $550 rebate) and they replaced it in 4 hours. In true BITOG OCI OCD formatting:

Out: 4 ton Trane XE70 70% furnace and SEER 9 single stage A/C.

In: 4 ton York TM9E 95% two stage furnace and a SEER 14.2 two stage A/C.

Interval: 33 years.

That old Trane was running to the last minute, but repairs and upgraded efficiency were enough to earn her a nice retirement.

Recuperating.

I got invited on a "moderate" hike, straight up the side of a mountain with my marathon running daughter. She left me in her dust and she collected my sorry self on her way back down. I think I might have made it about half way up. I swear I would have done better except I wore myself out yesterday evening hauling and burning brush. :)

I found out my wife's a crossfitter. I had been wondering why she was in such fine condition. I'm getting ragged just watching her level up like Zangya.

I’m just getting motivated for the morning lol. Not too early and not too late. Hopefully I’ll get to work on something today. I want to detail the cars too.
