What are you doing right now?

Just got back from night riding my 2024 KLX300 I bought today to put some break-in miles on it. The LED headlight (new for 2024 models) works really good.

LoL ... I've had an LG android for over 5+ years and it works just fine. I think it cost me $20 when I signed up for my current cell phone carrier.
Phones are not disposables and do not need to be replaced on some random timeline. The goal should be how long can it be made to last, not how quickly can one get to some specious replacement time point. Hope you get another 5 good years out of it, minimum.

Unfortunately carriers are disposable. AT&T is forcing me into a new phone because their current pricing is the worst and their service sucks 😔

We switched to Tello a couple years ago. Unlimited talk/text and 1GB data costs me $10.16 a month. Houston area and so far 100% coverage in my limited retirement operating area.

I couldn't afford that lol...
I am a power user. 25-30 GB a month. Need unlimited. Which I could though

Lol. Couldn’t be me man. I’m no technology guy but I like the newest model phones. The fact an LG has lasted that long is surprising in itself lol. I had an LG as my first smartphone in 2016, never again. I’d rather have a flip phone again. Got rid of that thing as soon as possible luckily my sister slammed her trunk on her phone so she got mine and i got a new one, the Samsung I had after that wasn’t much better but it was ok. Been rocking iPhone since 2019 when I finally convinced my parents they were not bad and now I’m never going back to anything else. This is the longest we’ve ever held on to smartphones 2.5 years. To each their own I guess but I am no fan of holding onto phones for a long time.

I’ll say though Verizon certainly ain’t cheap. Luckily this year I’m buying the phone from Apple and just paying the $30 a month for my line. We have unlimited everything. Not sure if I’ll trade it in or keep it.

Trying to get out of removing a toilet tank--for some reason, PO put wallpaper behind it. Wife is stripping all the wallpaper and going to repaint, we're trying not to have this snowball into a massive renovation--we know we want new vanities, but before I do that I want redo the plumbing and install a bunch of shutoff valves, but I'm too scared at the moment of shutting off water and learning of the ways to screw up installing sharkbite valves.

Time to clean the office instead. Yeah that's more important (plus she went off to do grocery shopping).

I went to McDonald's just to get out of the house. The girl at the window about threw the food in my lap. I say to myself, I think she wants me 😆 On to the next.

I’m watching baseball, watching the dog be goofy and talking to my friend by text message about the new phone. He is my special needs friend that I’ve been getting hats for and he is a big Apple enthusiast and is super excited and bought me a camera protector for it already lol. He wants one too but he won’t give up his 14 Plus because it’s yellow. Plus his dad won’t buy him one lol. After baseball goes off for tonight probably around 12 or 1am I’m going to watch more YouTube videos on the new phone. Super pumped and can’t wait for Tuesday and Friday. Still trying to get parents on the Apple train lol. Mom wants one of those Samsung flips. I’m trying to keep her off the bad phone train this time lol. After this phone purchase I’m saving up for a MacBook and smoker. I only buy Apple products now so anything besides a MacBook is off the table.

I'm buying this super expensive phone I don't really need as fast as I can possibly throw the money out and then I'm saving as fast as I can to buy a super expensive computer as fast as I can throw that money out and then I've got my eye on a probably expensive smoker as fast as I can possibly spend all my money again and then I'll figure out more thing(s) to spend all my money as fast as I can possibly spend it.

BTDT for too many years. Not at all a good or smart plan. Wish someone had set me straight and I'd come to my senses a lot sooner.
