What are you doing right now?

I think part of it is you are reading opinions on "how do I build credit?" and the primary answer to that question is with a credit card/account. The main options are credit card/account, car loan, home mortgage with the card being least difficult. Maybe the question is should I create ways to put myself in debt and make myself slave to creditor(s).

I’m eating Taco Bell with my coworkers keeping the taco Tuesday tradition going. My coworker bought my lunch today so I only got tacos and a drink. While we are eating I’ve been looking at the iPhone 15 Pro leaks. Deciding if I want to jump on it at release next week or wait a bit.

Flushing my main drain. It's about 200 ft of 6" mostly clay tile. Seems there's something low blocking flow from compete emptying. About a 3/4" build up of matter. But it is keeping water in the drain under the house and that was usually dry.

I had a sewer cam out here 10 years ago or so an he identified a potential problem area. Called it a step in the drain of some sort. Had a river rock come rolling out today.

Thinking of getting a pressure washer drain jet kit. Got to measure to see how long of one I need, hopefully I'm within 100ft from the access points.

Re: balded sentence. Someone can have and use a credit card and never pay one penny in interest. I've been doing that for decades. Use it as a way to conveniently buy things, and pay off the balance every month so no interest accrues - ie, don't charge more than you can pay off every month. That will build some credit, so if down the line a loan needs to be taken out for a car or whatever, then a loan can be had easier. Lots of places won't even give a loan these days to someone if there is no credit history, or you pay an insane amount of loan interest.

I haven't had a credit card since the 1980's and I get the 0% deal on cars every time. And for each one who pays off every month there are how many thousands without needed discipline who are slave to their creditors? I'll stick with it being a valid sentence, accurate for the vast majority.

Credit is like food. The ins got to equal the outs or things get out of hand.

I haven't paid any interest in years. Haven't had a regular loan in years too. But all my purchases are with credit cards. Paid off monthly or charged to 0% accounts. I use PayPal and other store cards for 6 months same as cash.

Credit Karma doesn't know what to think of me. They keep congratulating me on my great credit score and usage and keep trying to get me more in debt! Low card credit limits and closing accounts can hurt your scores.

Watching the Cleveland Guardians @ Los Angeles Angels. Go Angels. Don’t like the Guardians since the whole name change thing. They will forever be the Indians to me. I already started planning vacation for next year lol 😂 gonna visit another stadium probably Nationals or Orioles when they play the Padres or Brewers.

M's won 1-0. A score from the 1960's LA Dodgers with Sandy Koufax.

just home from a quick trip for work on my day off...
Boss forgot to order some mission critical labels in a timely manner, we're down to a supply that likely won't last the weekend...
they called and asked if I'd mind making a trip to the next nearest store to pick up a box from them... sure.. why not...all i had on the schedule for today was TV time....

it's about 40mi each way, took an hour each way.
of course I get Mileage and paid for the Travel Time.
filled out the expense report before i headed home.
so, 2 extra hours of pay (@$15.50= $31), and 80 mi @ $0.45/mi = $36

so instead of sitting in my recliner and watching god knows what on the tube, I drove for 2 hours and made $67...

woke up to the sound of thunder, how far off I sat and wondered... waiting for it to quit raining... slept away some of the afternoon...

Got the BMW cycle ready for the fall riding season. Rode today for the first time in 2.5 months. Fired right up with no odd noises.

I’m going to get breakfast now at McDonald’s most likely. Also just watching all the leaks of the iPhone 15 models. Can’t wait for the Pro. Ordering it on the pre order date. Even if it does have USB-C which I despise I’ll still buy it. I’m super pumped. Never been as excited for a new phone as I am this year. Not going to fool with Verizon and their non sense I’m buying directly from Apple. It releases Tuesday and the pre order will likely begin Friday. Less than a week 🙂. Super excited about it. I really hope it has the color matching charger too. Estimated price $1300 for the pro model as they said probably would be more than previous years I’m ok with that. I won’t downgrade to a regular model. I need the camera capability.

Getting ready for my morning walk around the grounds with the cat. Probably mow today as it's not suppose to rain. Do some more dirt work down at the barrel digs if it's dried a bit, but not too much.....
