Catching up on BITOG posts/threads. About to heat up some seafood gumbo I made over the weekend. Going to cut a few pieces of French bread to eat with my gumbo. Later on, I will clean a couple of my AR's and do an ammo count.
Lunchtime at my very last full work day after a near 40 year career. Very emotional finding all my pictures of my young wife and kids that I had stuck aside when I got newer pictures. I'm kind of a sensitive fellow. I am packing out some of my stuff. Throwing away all my awards and certificates and such. Turning my back at retirement has a much more satisfying feel than something like burning bridges might. Not that I won't or can't use knowledge gained but just won't have to. Won't have to work for the man!
Honestly? This forum is better than car-specific forums. It just is.
Sometimes, you even get the same members.
I would rather post here than to have to watch two forums etc.. most of the time, it's the same information.
Right now my cat is licking the juice from my steak.
Ammo is .223 WOLF PERFORMANCE (4 ammo boxes full), Winchester Ranger T-Series and Bonded JHP in various calibers, Hornady, SPEER, Federal, Mag-Tech, Remington, etc,. in various calibers.
A Ruger AR556 (#8500) and a S&W M&P15 ( my 1st AR bought new in 2007).

In the pic below is my sons just recent adopted cat (1-1/2 years old). A family member gave it to him. He's always been an outside cat. Every day my son comes home from work he meets him at his truck to greet him home. His name is Peaches.

Might binge watch American Gods on Netflix (Starz? What is it on?) but honestly.. looking like I can do without TV or movies from here on out.

Peaches was 1 in a litter of 4 kittens born in his cousins barn. He kept him outside to kill off the rodent infestation in the barn. He just recently tore his barn down and Peaches needed a new home. My son was more than happy to adopt him.Peaches is cute

All of my cats were inside cats. If they chased bugs I never knew about it. But, sometimes a lizard would find its way into the house. One of them would kill it and lay it on my bed as a prize, showing me they were on the job.Abernathy lol

At one time I had 3 cats named Blackie, Baby Girl, and Snow Ball. Blackie loved water. Every time I took a shower he had to come in the bathroom with me. When I shaved he would want to lie down in the sink water. Sometimes when I would walk past the bathroom he would be sitting up on the lav pawing at the faucet. I would have to turn it on so he could drink from it and run his head under the water. Silly cat!

Never had bugs at my first house. Then moved somewhere that had them. My cat was in love. Kind of disgusting, but frequently brought me back nasty Sandy Brown roaches with one leg moving. Started to worry that the roaches would have some kind of disease, I worried for the cat! He was fine lol.
They like to show you what they accomplished lol. It means they love you!
