Do you sample what you are delivering? Get a french fry or a bite of a Big Mac? Sip of a Slurpy?

Honestly, this is why I don't order Door Dash. I don't trust people with my food unless it's in a restaurant.

Haha. Sometimes it’s tempting because some it smells so good. I’m not sure if you read my post a page or two back but I once saw a DoorDash driver pickup an order at Chipotle and come to his car and take a drink of the drink. That was when DoorDash was still new. That disgusted me. I know some people in my friends group that it’s all they use is food delivery apps and won’t even drive to a restaurant.

I’ve mentioned this before.

I actually saw a door dasher pick up an order when I was standing next to that counter section. He didn’t see me watch him the entire time out to the car. He proceeded to wolf part of the order.

I haven’t done any food delivery recently although I tried it once during Covid. That didn’t go so well. I ordered a rare steak from Lone Star and by the time it arrived it was well done (the way they kept it warm might have been responsible for that) 🤦‍♂️

Just finished door dashing and I managed to get mom to talk to me. She apologized about the way she acted and what she said. I encouraged her to save up and look at options towards the summer time. She said it’s just hard for her to feel like she has nothing nice. I told her the Camry was perfectly nice and reminded her how all the coworkers she has had always said it was very good looking color. Then she said yeah but with over 100,000 miles it’s not nice I’m like mileage is irrelevant if it looks nice.
