Yep, dragging brakes. Had to replace one pad. Think I will get a set of OEM pads, these Carquest pads need too much filing. Could stand to replace a rotor too.

Ordering Chinese, wife didn’t want to cook.
 
Just got back home. Opened a package and someone sent me three packs of bar soap and a twin pack of deodorant I’m like dang this is awesome lol. But I’m going to have to give some away eventually because my soap and deodorant collection is growing rapidly lol. One pack of 8 Zest Aqua, 1 pack of 8 Zest Cocoa Butter and Shea, 1 pack of 4 Dove for Men Extra Fresh and a twin pack of Degree Ultraclear antiperspirant and deodorant. I got the same exact thing last month it says inside a gift for you from Amazon. This is strange lol. Then I checked my other forum and a guy on there sent me a message saying he bought a couple pallets of each because he’s a seller on Amazon and he doesn’t sell those much so he’s sending them to me for free each month until he runs out and then as more products age out he will send them. Christmas all year lol.
 
Just watched Die Hard. I’d only seen it once when it was fairly new so it was like seeing it for the first time. I just inherited a Beretta 92 so was cool to see one get a lot of screen time. Filmed in 1988, Glock was just beginning to get traction.

Terrible news about Mr. Willis. 🙁

This reminds me of a class I had to take when I got promoted to management. One of the topics was awkward discussions with team members and one participant gave the example of having to address an odor problem with someone who came from a culture where deodorant wasn't a daily-use thing...

As for what I'm doing? Heading down to toss a load of laundry into the dryer (hopefully no escapees this time). I spent the last 40 minutes or so filling out a health questionnaire for the oral surgeon who managed to squeeze me in for a consult on Wednesday and realized I got distracted and need to finish the laundry.

I have the honor of being the last patient seen in 2025. Unfortunately, that means all out-of-pocket and copay expenses fall in 2026, which means I won't be getting any help from this year's expenses...
 
I’m back at home after spending the last 4 days at my girlfriend’s place. I was supposed to give a Niagara Falls walking tour for 13 people today but the boat cruise was canceled because of the high winds. I just checked the weather there as of 1pm (the start time of my tour) and the wind gusts were up to 106 kmh! That’s the highest I’ve ever heard of in my lifetime 😬
