What are you doing right now?

Need to call the windshield place, wife says she got a second rock chip. Great.

So far I’ve looked at RAV4, Frontier and Ridgeline. Hate car shopping. Wife reminded me that Apple Carplay is rather nice, would miss that, unless if I could install a new radio or something.
 
I think we have glass coverage under insurance, but the wife has her email associated with it, so I need her to get into it to check. Tomorrow's job.

Last couple of windshields they came to me at work. I'd just wander out, help them verify the right car, let them do their job. So I'm hoping for same. There's a risk that they might not want to seal this chip as it's line of sight (my wife's observation--but she can be picky about things!) but otherwise it should be just that, whatever they do to seal up small stars. Hoping for a cheap repair!

They have gotten pretty darn good with repairs …
Like many things - have to get on it right away 😉

We drove from Alberta to Whistler on 2 lane roads & wow was it beautiful

Stopped at a McDonalds in Whistler & it was packed some guy walked up yoga table full of kids & took all the food and walked off. An employee said not to worry about it, that happens all the time & it’s just hungry unhoused people and they replaced the food

Saw 4 crashes in the area, the Ford dealer would not change out oil (6k miles) so we ended up in Bellingham WA for a oil change & saw another 3 crashes before crossing the border

I spent the entire afternoon on the phone. I was bouncing back and forth between Canon and our internet provider, all just to set up a wireless printer, and it still won't connect to the network. We did manage to get it to work with the USB cable, so it wasn't entirely futile.
Canon has now escalated the case to a manager or supervisor, who is supposed to call me within the next 48 hours. The worst part is, I bought a Canon to replace a Canon thinking setup would be a breeze.

To put icing on the cake, both my doorbell camera and my smart plugs all required re-connectivity to the network, in order to resume operation.

Isn’t this kind of stuff so frustrating?? Technology is great when it works but super annoying when it’s messed up 😳

One time coming back I hear this horn just blaring over and over, very loud, a little ways back left lane. It's a full size GM pick-up. Guy is just up the erse of a sedan, I mean on his bumper, horn full blast. The truck wanted to pass, but guy wasn't moving over. I was in the right lane as they went by my left side. He nearly rammed the sedan guy. Horn still blaring.
