What are you doing right now?

This is no-where near anything that great. Relatively small setup for a very small location. About 7 VMs, two DCs, print server, small file server a couple of Debian boxes and an Application server. Two HP DL360 Gen10 with a SAN with a File share witness.
Nice. I may be in the minority but I like HyperV

I’m going to Bath and Body Works to get mom some things on her Christmas list and probably find me something too. According to a post online is they make a deodorant that smells just like Speed Stick Musk so I’m going to see how accurate that is and if it smells like it then I’m clearing the place out lol.

Just some friendly editorial advice... The words "smell" and "clearing the place out" should never, ever be used in the same sentence. :ROFLMAO:

It’s ok I didn’t get to do that lol 😆. Place was empty and lines were crowded. Have to check at the other Bath and Body Works location tomorrow and if I can’t find anything then I have backups at Walmart lol.

Opened today's mail and found a Jury Duty Summons for February. Every two years like clockwork. I don't mind jury duty, it's a part of citizenship. My complaints are that coffee isn't free, the cafeteria has such lousy choices, and they don't give you a meal ticket like they did in the old days.

I was summoned this fall but I was lucky and drew a high number so didn't get empaneled on the domestic violence case I was selected for. It only cost me one day of my time instead of a week. I did get several cups of free coffee.

I agree with you. I like Hyper-V as well. It has always ran well for me. With Broadcom pricing through the roof it’s even more attractive. Especially for an all Windows shop.

The fact that I don’t have to continually watch a hypervisor tool/applet like VMware Tools for patching alone makes me happy. AVMA is another feature I love, SET teams work well.

I had it back in March but thankfully I never even had to report so I got lucky lol. Good thing about my state is once your name is drawn it can’t be drawn again for at least 5 years.

Had my windshield repaired yesterday at work, first time for me I typically get dinged on the hood. I never saw whatever it was but it was so loud it could have been a stray bullet. 😱
I had something hit my driver-side window last year that was so loud my ear was ringing for a half-hour after that. Assuming a pebble but I never saw it, and I'm amazed that the window didn't even have a mark on it.

As for what I'm doing, getting ready to run some data for people who apparently didn't bother checking what we've been giving them since March and now decided they need it analyzed differently. And done *today*.

Slogging through my last day shift until next Monday. After work, I'm picking up my dad, going up north to our cabin and spend Christmas there until Sunday. My daughter, SIL and 2 grandkids flew in from Australia last week and are spending 5 weeks with us. Fun times!

Just left the mall. Talk about a madhouse lol. Got me a few presents to myself like two bars of soap one from Bath and Body Works the other from Crown and Field which is a new store to our town but we have one in my work town. I like going to the mall to all the stores. Got mom some stuff too and now going to Walmart to get her a few other things. She’s gotten into painting her nails now that she doesn’t work in a kitchen so I’ll get her some nice nail polish to go with the body wash, soap and deodorant from Bath and Body Works. I went to Ulta Beauty but man their stuff is high. I will say all the people in the stores were very helpful and talkative which is really nice.
