What are you doing right now?

I just signed up to do DoorDash and be a driver. Trying to get out of my comfort zone a little bit and make some extra money to pay my car off and just focus on saving money and bills. I have enough income to do all of that but I want the extra to because like a wise man once told me is you can never have too much money. Seeing how much my area is growing and also how much my dad makes doing it then I know it will be pretty good. Last year he made bank during the Super Bowl so hopefully I’ll have that luck when the time comes too lol.

Went to Home Goods in Bellingham. I am kinda shocked compared to HG in Woodinville. Like different stores. This one here is excellent and well stocked. Bought some shorter espresso cups and a kilo of Italian espresso beans.

Dropped off some donation stuff

Went to Blaine street fair and tree lighting

Juno had a great day today with us

Trying to build up the energy to go out and do snow-removal. I spent a couple hours on Friday afternoon raking leaves (which are now snow-covered so it's iffy whether the town will pick them up this week), and the last thing I did before I went back in the house was to pull out the snowthrower and make sure it starts. It did. Preventive maintenance last spring for the win.

Getting ready to head to post office with eBay orders to drop off. Listed some soaps and deodorants last night and all except a few of the soaps have sold so far and all of the deodorant is sold so I have about a $100 or so paycheck coming from eBay shortly lol. Hate their new payment thing where you have to wait till the buyer gets the order to be paid. I’ve never once had a negative review or anything but it says funds on hold. Kind of ridiculous in my opinion.

Currently washing clothes. I’m debating whether to wash my RAV4 or not. Currently in the 40s. Supposed to get in the 20s tonight so I guess as long as it dries before then it’s fine.
I’ve washed cars when it’s hovering right around 32 degrees, if it’s not windy and the sun is out. I have even washed cars at the do it yourself coin wash when it’s 20-30F.

Two hr's on the blower coming in for fresh pot of coffee and breakfast. Getting back on blower and gotta rake the off the roof probably 2 feet in spots. Luckily I'm in darn good shape at 52 and why you keep yourself in shape for real life activitie.and work.

Dang all you people got snow lol. Lucky. I want snow so I can be off of work. But it is a hassle though so I’m glad we don’t have any. It got freezing rain here last night though and I almost busted my tail walking the dog.

On a little bit of a roll insulting the joist in my finished basement. Filthy job with the insulation already there in the ceiling. Silicone caulked the joist then put in foam board then silicone caulk the small seems wider seems spray foamed. Found the issue why I froze a pipe last winter. When I put in the front door I didn't seal the new door sill from inside the basement. I could see day light all along bottom of the sill and cold air pouring in. Spray foamed it from the inside and last weekend I caulked it from the outside.

We are going to Kohls. Not often we go to Kohls but mom is trying to find boots because it’s supposed to snow and every other place that would sell boots besides Walmart is closed already lol. She walked up to a cop in the mall and started going on a rant about them closing at 8pm I had to persuade her to come on so she didn’t get in trouble lol. She was very mad about them now closing at 8pm. Said she is going to write a nice letter to the mall manager about her dissatisfaction lol. My only complaint was I didn’t hear Christmas music playing lol.

Hopefully work will at least open late tomorrow supposed to be ice and freezing rain and snow tonight and the mountainous area where I work gets a lot colder than my hometown does.

"I want to talk to the manager! It's unacceptable that the mall is only open until 8pm. This is an outrage! Do you know who I am?

Sincerely,
Karen Mechanic"

Getting ready to pull the plug--some snow coming tomorrow, think it's less than a foot so not so bad--but it's the first real snow of the season, so I'm sure I'll regret shoveling it all. Maybe I'll get lucky and it'll get deep enough, soon enough, that I'll feel like firing up the plow and pushing it around. Otherwise, wrapping up a regular workday after a nice week off. It'll be a tough week, as I think I'll take next week off, and a week around Christmas. Don't want to overwork myself, ya know.
