Just made my first official car payment. My wallet is sad and empty now lol. Just kidding but it has no cash now just cards. I have to get cash and put it in my credit union since they financed my car and my direct deposit goes into Wells Fargo. I want to pay extra but when I pay extra it goes to the interest and not principal which isn’t what I want because I already made several payments before this and all went to interest so I’m going to see if I can call them Friday and ask if I am able to pay extra online or not. Time to pay for my tires now so another $700 out lol.

Just left Walmart. Can’t believe they are closed tomorrow. Most places are open till at least 4 or so. I guess I understand it though. I think that’s the first time I’ve ever seen Walmart close for a day besides Christmas.
Any extra paid on a monthly payment should go to the principal. If not, you got a scammer loan.

Put in a rough night
Old GF mother is in ICU in critical condition and she is a great lady and is 88..
The daughter was hysterical and it was painful to be part of it all.
I tried my best to console her.
It's Chimmies grandma to sound dumb but true.
She did listen and is getting her mom transferred out to a better hospital . The old hospital isn't capable of taking care of her issues
I really hate these days

No it's sort of like me and my mom the final 5 years... People disappear when you need a kind word or help..

It's for several things but my mom took it for Afib she got after the sudden death of my father.
One morning she fell and couldn't get up and in a few short months it destroyed her lungs...and it was 5 years of misery on oxygen and a wheel chair
My next door neighbor was on it and bragged it up too until she passed out in a grocery store and it eventually did her in too
My middle brother and his wife spent the night and he has been smoking a brisket since 6 AM. The family agreed turkey sucks and isn't something you'd order at a restaurant, but it still feels a little weird.
Lots of family will be showing up and I should post a few signs, "Don't ask if you can help it's annoying". I should also post a sign by the road, "IF your vehicle leaks oil, park on the grass".

Ditto. The Wells Fargo loan on my Corolla was that way. I'd have to jump through hoops to get it to go to principle, or get several months ahead, some nonsense. Foolish move on my part to get that loan (and car). Paid it off and that bank made nadda off me for interest.

Getting ready to head to aunts for Thanksgiving lunch at 12pm. I would prefer the usual 4pm dinner celebration but everyone wanted to do it early this year so that way they could do other celebrations later in the day. It is what it is I guess. All I’m going to do later is watch Charlie Brown Thanksgiving and maybe Planes, Trains and Automobiles because I’ve never seen it and heard it’s a Thanksgiving movie. I’ve seen Charlie Brown. Went to Walmart yesterday and got the Charlie Brown holiday collection on DVD because they no longer can air the episodes on cable and I don’t want to watch it on Apple TV so that’s why physical media is king.
So my wife has to work this afternoon and evening, so we did Thanksgiving yesterday. Not sure what I'm doing today. Poking around the house I guess.
Bit peeved at my daughter--she was supposed to bring home the laptop that died on her but... Was hoping that we could figure out what was wrong with it and fix it, and then my wife could quit complaining about not having a laptop.
Still struggling with snow tires. I hate making costly decisions.

It’s through my credit union. That’s the only one I could get besides two that were going to kill me on interest and one of them required a tracking device in the car so they can locate and shut it off if a payment is missed. I definitely wasn’t going to do that. The credit union used to be really good but right after I bought the car they announced they were merging with another credit union and things have went down hill since then.
Day shift scheduling power & water flows. Of course, it's a holiday weekend & our engineering/support teams decided to approve vacation leave for entire teams. Last night there was obviously server issues impacting data transfers with our reports & shared facilities with the feds. Not a single person available for callout. Government poor planning at its finest.
