We suspect oil on the catalytic converter...

This was the kind of smoke we didn't want to run the car too long or rev it too high because it engulfed the car in smoke and maybe someone would call fire department. Maybe not as bad as the most extreme SeaFoam you've ever seen but.. oil/burnt/carbon smell. Didn't make us choke.. I thought it smelled good. Definitely oil.

That doesn't look like antifreeze smoke to me. Unless it is and the engine is, in fact, crap, the JDM one..

Color can be off in video. Or the screen/ device we might watch it on. So any color we might see, might not be accurate.

To me, on my screen, it looks like water vapor.

Since I apparently am not seeing it accurately, and can't smell it, or hear the engine running, it's just a guessing game.

That's kind of a good point. I was thinking it would look the darker/heavier grey..

Apparently it lacked a PCV system coming from JDM and that mixed oil and fuel and made the smoke...

Now it "sounds good" just has P1497. Flashing "AT OIL TEMP" light (that means Automatic Transmission in Subaru speak.)

Lol well in a way it is because I enjoy fixing stuff. It has an access hole at the bottom but the cross member covers it so I am going in thru a wire hole in the fender.
