I’m ready to leave work lol. Super slow today. I’m researching fried rice recipes for the griddle. Might try and make some homemade Chinese food this weekend instead of going to the restaurant and spending a fortune. And plus I need to learn how to make stuff besides steaks and burgers and sausage and bacon lol.

Just at work. Really not much going on. Very quiet and peaceful day. We are beginning the winter slow down at this point. Kinda nice and peaceful honestly. I’m waiting on a brake caliper approval and if approved won’t be here till Monday and one tomorrow so me and another tech are sharing a bay at the moment and he is flat rate so he gets priority.

Was starting in on the brakes on the old Accent and found a bad right axel right off the bat. Still the original at 191k miles. I've had a wobble on the right side when going hard into a left hand turn.

Detroit Axel on eBay for $80 and lifetime guarantee. I don't think there is much life left in the old girl. Only use it for winter use. But maybe a couple more years before the fenders fall off.

Off work this week and next due to carpal tunnel surgery on Tuesday. Had zero carpal tunnel issues since surgery and am glad I didn't put it off any longer. No more issues while sleeping at night. The incision hurts if I press on it but even that is better today than it was yesterday.

I use to tell myself when I was in my 20's I'll never have aches and pains when I get old as I'm skinny and in shape. I'm not old yet but I was wrong.

Glad you're having a great outcome! I tell my kids all the time to take it easy on their bodies as little injuries add up over time.

Winding up my emergency radio to listen to some tunes while the power is out. I only lose power on sunny calm days, lol. Most likely underground power lines going bad, not the first time. I've had discussions about it with the power company.

Watching the San Diego Padres @ Los Angeles Dodgers game. If the Padres lose tonight they don’t move on to the NLCS. If the Dodgers lose they don’t either. Hopefully it’s the Dodgers that lose because I can’t stand them lol. And I’m enjoying Chinese food with this game. I’ve been praying for the Padres all day it’s my dream to see my Padres in the World Series in my lifetime.
