Cats are so wonderful!!
Kiki (aka The Nades) is sitting in my lap in a tight ball keeping me warm as I'm typing this, drinking my first cup of coffee, listening to the rain falling down. Warming up the house (I love it freezing cold at night when we sleep).
Just got back from mailing gift to my aunt back home. I was first person in a line of over 20 people. Only 1 post office person working. Good times I tell you

Anyone's cat here "litter picky"? Mine's current fave is Okocat. It's an all natural litter made from wood. I think the weird scents of regular litters is what she didn't like, and I didn't like either. The Okocat has a woodsy scent that's barely there, to the point that it's probably unscented. Anyone else here but me getting more intolerant of strong scents the older they get? Some scents are so strong that just drive me up the wall!! Soaps, shampoos, and conditioners have to have (is "have to have" proper grammar??) a mild scent in order for me not to hate them.

Yeah, post office is like 3/4 mile from me to so I walked there. No wonder help wanted signs all over place too, when only one person working. Oops!!

The Quebecois (Mrs. Uncle Dave ) have infiltrated the Kitchen and are preparing a traditional Christmas meal known as " meat pies".
Beef, pork and usually veal mix, but in this case veal was substituted for turkey potato and onion and some "secret spices" baked into a pie.
These are typically made in a batch of 3-4. one for the day, one for the freezer, 2 given away is the formula.

Putting up the Christmas Tree. Planned to already have it done but had to clean up and make room for it. Now going to get a Pepsi and see our friend at the gas station.
Since we've switched to food, I can announce that I just finished making fried rice and will be eating in a bit.
Making my sons favorite food, spaghetti.
Just got back from Cambridge Ontario after picking up my Grand Seiko Spring Drive watch from a warranty repair on the bracelet clasp. The repair process started March 2020....so that was about 9 months of delays...Covid counting for 3 months.
Free Chinese Food??? Hmmm...

Just finished the painful process of “home schooling” my five year-old. My wife works with him on the majority of his assignments, but gets fed up with his attitude after a while and has to tag me in.
He likes the PE and other active assignments, but can’t stand learning to read. I can’t wait until he’s back in school full time!!!
