I'm wallowing in the glorious feeling which came after straightening out several intersecting foos (as in SNAFU) relevant to my prescription drug plan.
a) I want to patronize independent drug stores (and the like) and found one.
b) A national drugstore company, CVS, got some kind of in through the insurer and sent out an amazingly complicated "opt-out" email I never saw.
c) Then one day the insurer refused to pay the ~ 90% of the bill. The indie was certain I'd be boxed into mail delivered pills.
d) CVS gave me a toll free number which didn't address my concerns and after "menuing" me, hung up.
e) I dug around and found a number to a call center where a lovely gal initiated my "opt-out", pulled up my prescriptions, called my indie to cement things and called me back to tell me all was well.
f) The crew at the pharmacy cheered me when I picked up my pills.
Why is everyone a moron? It's 30 or 90 day prescriptions, mail or pick-up. Where's the complication?
Where is the benefit or profit from manufacturing such confusion?
I'd be OK with 90 day deliveries but now I don't want to deal with this multi-headed monster if I don't have to.
Ehh, my glorious feeling has faded.
Hey AM, stop being stupid with your diet (and you know I love you)...and that goes for everyone else too.
