First serious shoveling of the winter season. It took 3 half hour session to do it all.

Going to Hardee’s to pick up some breakfast then will probably head to Harbor Freight or an auto parts store to look at and purchase tools lol. Have to change the oil sometime this week just wind is blowing so bad but it needs to be done.

They suggest shoveling 10 minute intervals for older people . I do this and have 20 minute breaks between shovelings .

Probably a good idea. I wasn't really rushing the job.
Not much lifting of the snow. basically just pushing from side to side.
I was more worried about putting the tip of the handle into the jewels if the shovel hit a pavement break. FitBit said my max heart rate was 105 max.

Well my rear pads replacement and ignition switch replacement got put off for another day or two. The rear hedge at our lake house needed attention so here I am working outside with the pole saw cutting trees out of the hedge. Wife made a fried spam and cheese sandwich after all that work and then an hour and a half nap to finish the day. I'll get those brakes another day.

Its 11:30pm. Wife and I went to sleep an hour ago. She works each day from 0700am to 0330pm. I woke up again as usual. Left her sleeping and hit the sofa in the back den to prevent waking her. Just found a classic movie. Lawrence of Arabia. If this old one does not help you sleep there is no hope! LOL... Its a kind of long drawn out (near 4 hours) historical, semi-fictional movie that mostly histrory buffs can endure watching.
