It is a buttstock shellholder. It has a zippered pouch as well as cartridge loops to hold extra ammunition.
This model is made by Blackhawk Tactical, and is similar to the one I have on my Ruger Mini 14 which is made by the Allen Company. This one is mounted on a Savage Model 10 FP in .308. Bill T.

Stag Arms does machine work for Colt, Stags are lot Cheaper than Colts.

Those AR's are the nicest battery I've ever seen. Gee wiz I wish I lived in Arizona!!!?? :-( I live next door in California where the sun nazi's make stupid laws and run the shooting ranges outta town. All I can get are those UGLY California AR-15!!

anyone got an old A1 style AR?
I have an excellent condition, maybe 700 rds through it,1992ish Colt Sporter Match H-BAR with the heavier barell.
