I've watched these batteries for years and they continue to drop in price. I was hoping for a sub $100 price on BF to replace the dying battery in our Honda Pilot, but they're not there yet.

Weize is just a private label or a rebadge of your standard AGM battery made all over the world at this point, in this case made by JYC (China). They're trying to compete with Clarios which dominates the AGM market with rebadged AGM's also made in China - this includes Interstate, Diehard Platinum, Everstart Platinum, Acdelco, Duralast, the list goes on.

If you buy directly from Weize and use "RINOAL" it's $118.90 shipped: WEIZE Platinum AGM Car Battery BCI Group 48 - 12V 70Ah H6 Automotive Battery

The always amazing Amazon has this for $9 more if you'd rather go there: Weize Platinum AGM Battery BCI Group 48-12v 70ah H6 Size 48 Automotive Battery, 120RC, 760CCA, 36 Months Warranty

I know it says "lightening deal" right now but it drops to this price all the time. It was $119.99 for a long time before more and more of the same thing under different brands started showing up on the site. Amazon will only ship AGM's since they technically can't leak like a flooded batt would. I've bought AGM's form them before and they were brand new, drop shipped from the factory and packaged well.

I have no affliation with these people, I just hate to see people pay double the price for the exact same product. Yes, I know warranty is a concern, so take that into account in your own personal situation.

When I need a battery for my 22 Mavrick Hybrid that is who I am most likely going to order from. I have been looking on Amazon and you cannot beat the prices on Weize for their AGM battery.

Good to know as I was stressing over the Tiguan's and spending $200+ on an AGM. Currently 3 years old and not leaking but started having some weird symptoms. The little battery window states it is still good even after a single no start issue.

Need 2 for my lml duramax, limit one from Amazon though apparently. Current everstarts have been fine, date 2016, would probably still be ok had the crank not broken in oct 2023 and it’s been sitting since. Will have it back together soon but the battery’s are junk after sitting over a year. Probably will end up with more everstarts( reg or agm🤷‍♂️) from Walmart or some acdelco agm from ra for the same price, unless these are still cheap when the time comes. Never heard of the brand though

I recently purchased a Black Friday Weise AGM battery for my Polaris ATV, for $36 on Amazon. Battery works quite well, and cranks the 330cc single without issue.

I've been seeing those batteries all over Amazon and have thought about getting one for my wife's Pilot and my Accord. Still not sure on longevity since never heard the name before.

I've been curious about these as well, and watching the price fluctuations. Generally, it has gone between ~$127-123, so the current direct non-coupon price is actually a couple bucks higher than it has been. They actually dropped the price for a couple days leading up to BF, then raised it back to the typical price, and automatically added the standard 3% discount that could be had at any time using "HELLO" as a code.

They've also been available from Amazon for a few dollars more, and in the past, on eBay from another seller, 1Autodepot. Hylokity seems to be the original importer/distributor of these, but I don't know if the two are affiliated.

~$120 is about as low as they've gone, so this is as opportune a time as any if you're on the fence. No sales tax, and no core charge, so it is a WYSIWYG price, at least buying direct. I expect Amazon would charge sales tax, under the qualifying nexus rules for each state, given the dollar amount of business they do.

Putting aside the durability of the product, the big risk is warranty support if something goes awry. Three years is competitive, but with Chinese merchants, the customer service experience runs the gamut from "show us proof, and get lucky with easy refund/replacement" all the way to "ship it back to us first," the latter of which is no trivial matter with a 45lb plastic case filled with lead and acid.

For comparison shoppers, an H6 at Costco runs $124 for flooded, and $170 for AGM, with a 3-year prorated (only) warranty.

The choices at Walmart run from Value (1-year, $72), Plus (2-year, $110), Maxx (3-year $140), Platinum AGM ($180, 4-year), online pricing, with replacement warranties. In-store pricing may vary.

Everyone else outside of the warehouse clubs and Walmart, expect to pay ~$200 or more for a "good/better/best"-level flooded H6 with 3 year warranty.

The jury is still out on these, and it is a gamble to be sure. But from what I could find, the Mavericks (which either seems to be picky about batteries, or eats them) are flocking to them, and doing ok.

I wouldn't put any weight in the majority of buyers/reviewers who consider getting a proper application fit for a particular battery as some sort of victory, or defeat, and rate accordingly, skewing the results.

Care to point out where that $80 Walmart AGM car battery can be purchased?
Sorry i was looking at a $139 everstart Maxx flooded.
Weize 24F is 169.99 on Amazon.
Everstart AGM is 179.99

I have a couple weize AGM in scooter/snowmobile and they seem ok.
Not as good as a Deka powersports battery but 1/2 the cost.

Warranty support is important for me, as I have had to replace a few batteries in the past (East Penn flooded times 2, Optima red top AGM times 3).
With the Costco warranty going down hill, I have been getting WalMart AGMs with the four year free replacement warranty. So far so good, but with Clarios as the supplier, it is a crap shoot what the country of origin will be. Lately Korea on the west coast (and my experience is okay with these so far), but seen Germany and Mexico in the past and someone said now China.

Hey guys, I just looked on Consumer Reports and they tested a Weize battery in Group 94R H7 and it was mediocre. Where a top battery will rate 90 points or above, it was rated at 45 points. It did great in reserve capacity tests, and very good in CCA, but did poorly in their LIFE tests:

Life: Life test measures how a battery endures repeated charge-and-discharge cycles at hot-climate engine-compartment temperatures. The more cycles endured while maintaining a higher voltage, the higher the score.

Interesting, but most all the commonly used AGMs did poorly in that size including Die Hard, Duralast and Interstate.
The only standout was Odyssey at 94 points. The second place AAA AGM Premium was only 68 pts.

CR tests of H6 batteries in descending order:
Odyssey AGM 91
Optima yellow top (not spiral, its a plate AGM) 90
Interstate MTX agm 86
Exide Marathon Max 85
Interstate MT-7 84
Super Start Platinum 82
Champion H6-730CHP 80
X2 Power 79 (this was a surprise, in most sizes this is top rated)
Interstate MegaTron 78
Champion AGM 78

My rule of thumb is replace battery as a maintenance item shortly after warranty expires so every 3-4 years. It is simply not worth the hassle of being caught with a no start due to a dead battery especially if one requires a tow which can cost 50-75 % of a new battery.

I can't remember the last time I had a battery fail suddenly aside from them freezing and blowing apart.

I replace when needed. Some only last 2-3 years, some 15.
