VRP is in Canada!

Saw it in the Pembroke, ON WM this evening.
It seemed to be ‘mixed in’ with other synthetic oils, and didn’t have its own spot…some was in a row in a endcap of M1 for $59.99; some was in with the Valvoline Advanced synthetic on sale for $34.99, so was not sure what actual price it is.

I paid $49.97 for 5L jug. Someone said they saw it on rollback last week for $34.97 but I'm not sure if they maybe were confusing it with Valvoline Advanced which is on rollback for $34.97.

I'd say there is no mileage threshold, if you see oil consumption, exp if it just started happening, the oil should help. It worked on my Sportage with a single OCI of 6k km on VRP, I did change oil filter half way just in case too. It started burning and I used this oil when consumption went up to about 1L per OCI of 6k km.
Thanks. Just did a fairly recent oil change but may not wait until the fall for its next one? I'll check my local WM here in town to see if they have it, and, and if so, I'll grab a couple jugs.

Use over four (4) 4,800km OCIs.
Good caveat: This product is not for extended drain use.

Good news, i might try some in the Civic. It doesn't consume oil but it's high milleage AF. It would be perfect for it as it doesn't see much use now anyway. Perhaps 4 or 5k km per Summer so i would'nt be too concerned by the fact that it's not a ED friendly oil.

I stopped on my way through Lloydminster Alberta, I bought two jugs @ 49.97 each, it was on a corner shelf one isle away from all the other oil, right beside the R&P was another Valvoline oil on roll back @ 34.97.

Found only the 0W-20 in stock at one Walmart so far. This one was in the burquitlam area. Not on sale, $49.97 for 5L not 5 quarts.

They had 0w20, 5w20 and 5w30 in the Lloydminster store, not many in stock, I bought the only two jugs of 5w20, online it showed the store only having 5w30, they must have stocked the oil the night before, perfect timing on my part. :)

CT for years has been ‘on the outs’ with Valvoline. They very occasionally had the full synthetic and they carry Maxlife ATF, but nothing else.
About a month ago we got a whole line of Valvoline ATF products in the ‘regular’ blue bottles - Dex/Merc, ATF+4, and CVT fluids. Now they may start carrying VRP…the new owners of Valvoline are really pushing them into the market, good for them!!

It’s $10 more than Walmart but Canadian Tire has so many sales that I would expect them to sell it for a bit less than Walmart in those cases.
I was in my local CT yesterday. I asked the auto parts desk if they could see in their system when it would be at this store. He looked at the 5W-30 item number on their website and said it was on a Do not stock list, which he found odd and assumed it was because it was so new. He told me he showed 1000 units of the 5W-30 in the warehouse. If I wanted some I had to go to customer service, ask to do a a "Catalog Order" prepay for the items, and wait 2-4 weeks for it to arrive.

I didn't do it obviously as Walmart being $10 cheaper is a big difference. Just sharing for those interested in the availability at CT.
