Double ARX it -- it will clean up just fine as long as there is no mechanical damage. Perhaps a 10w-30 might be best for the first clean in case there are any circulation issues. How's it look under the filler cap?
You may want to follow up with some lube control thereafter just to get whatever residual varnish might be left around.
A 12k dino OCI is waaaaaay too long on that turbo. Thank goodness it's a Volvo and not a VW.
