I don't much care for the sedan version of these big RWD GMs, but for whatever reason have a soft spot for the wagons.
I love that Vista-Cruiser roof - it reminds me of a railway dome car.
Agreed, that's a lot of rear overhang. Those proportions are odd, if the rear wheels were moved 2 inches more to the back, it would look better, and give even better ride.
Could be! I saw it wasn't a Chevy, and my mind went right to Olds. Didn't even think of Buick, but you're probably right.Isn't that a Buick Roadmaster?

Oddly enough there were no Old's branded '91-'96 B-Bodies.
Dishdude got it right, see above ^^^Oddly enough there were no Old's branded '91-'96 B-Bodies.
Keeping the same dimensions as the Caprice was probably more cost effective than making tweaks for a relatively low-production wagon. Those proportions are odd, if the rear wheels were moved 2 inches more to the back, it would look better, and give even better ride.
Could be my buddy's, honestly! Although his is the Chevy...There's an exact model being driven in the west suburbs of Cleveland. Seen it twice.
They had that back into the 70s. My dad had a 79 impala wagon when I was a kid. We loved riding in the rear facing seat.I worked with a guy that had one. His had a 305 CU motor I think and an unusual storage compartment in the far rear that looked like it could be used for a live well.
