Could you imagine putting this oil in a 2016 Chevy Malibu and it being 22* outside? I wonder what the engine would sound like the first few seconds, IF IT WERE EVEN ABLE TO TURN OVER!

Imagine what 20w50 or SAE 60 or that Kendall Nitro 70 would sound like
In my other 1987 4Runner I've used quite a bit of heavier oil. One winter I even ran it with 20w50 even at well below zero in Michigan it started. The only time I ever thought it wasn't going to crank fast enough to start was one morning when it was -17F outside. It did start but just barely and I'm not sure if it was the power steering or oil pump cavitation I could hear or both. It lived to tell about it and still runs. I think I might even have a UOA on VR1 SAE 60 for that truck somewhere.

I've seen this oil on clearance and I think I've seen it in a straight 60 grade as well.
It would be okay for warm weather adds in most applications and would also be okay in any splash lubed OPE used in the warmer months, as Garak wrote.
You could also mix it into some thinner grade of Valvoline oil and it does say "high zinc" right on the label for those who think that's a good thing.
I can't see a whole lot of use for it except to find ways of getting rid of it, though.

I'll use it in the 14+ year old bolens mower I finally fixed.
I'd go by a local Speed Shop and ask if they wanted to trade it for something else. It's excellent race oil and someone with a clearanced motor will want it. They have no use for 5W-XX and will prolly make you a deal
