Indeed - seems like Valvoline is onto a good thing. Your second link is 20W-50, not 5w30 - but still I think Valvoline has been going down this road for a little while, if their excellent UOA's of street oils are any indication. What is the date of this rollout? (just marketing words, been with this formula for awhile??)

You're right. Corrected.

I don't know, the Synth PDS dates are a tad old. 2006. UOA's are always solid with Valvoline.

Also noticed a 0w-20 Synpower grade on the PDS.

VR1 also is supposed to have about 1200 ppm zinc, etc. Yes, nice range of monogrades (30,40, 50, 60), also 10w30 and 20w50. Murray's had it on special a few months ago. I should have bought a couple cases, but with my stash so big now...
