Why can't they just be honest and tell us what constitutes their oil?

This isn't Colonel Sander's Chicken recipe for heavens- sake!!!

It's not that their oil turned to ^%$&. It's the fact that they are evasive and condescending in their responses.

Hello!!! anyone from Valvoline listening???

It definetly makes me mad that when you call them they lie right to you and tell you that it has never been changed. All you have to do is look at the MSDS and you can tell they keep changing their formula. What is it with these big oil companies lying to their customers?

They must have hired a bunch of Mobil1 guys to answer their mail...

Don't know what's in it, but it stopped Daughter's car from leaking all over the new driveway. I'll be putting it in Wife's car real soon to see if it does the same. Both changes are/will be the old jugs. Don't know about the new one's yet.

I think Groucho is right. Some of their phone reps don't know squat. They just read from an answer sheet. A few do have more info, but you never know if they believe their own wishful thinking or are really in the know. Someone on this board, please get a job at Valvoline, infiltrate the ranks, and report back to us on what is really going on.

BTW, in the context that Maxlife's performance is consistent from it's initial production, they are right. Sort of a Clintonesque form of truth. Yes the oil is the same as always regardless of many running changes due to cost newer performance standards (SM), and hopefully even betterment tweeking.
