I'm currently running with a Fram Ultra filter which is by BITOG standards a great filter and supposed to hold up for quite a few miles, I agree. So my quick question is, when I change the oil in the sump, should I take off and dump what is left in the filter and put it back on or just leave it on and assume that whatever is in it that is loose will be diluted and picked up by the new oil and not worry about it. Also, would any of the MOLY currently in the oil be filtered at all? I want to say I remember someone saying that it's much to small to be filtered and just flows through regardless.
