Unexplaned noise in Windsor!?

I keep hearing reports of unexplained booms around the country.

Here's the one from Windsor:

This made news about a year or two ago. I have yet to hear a resolution on this. IMO the authorities likely know what's causing it but won't say, for whatever reason.

"Zug Island" looks like it could cause a noise based on the pics from a Google search, but it's probably just Canadians complaining too much.

Probably a big roller ball mill or something...

or the shredders at Government Motors...

Interesting what the environmental legalities are. Are the US industry pumping it across knowingly because US laws don't apply where the effects are felt by residents? maybe no residents on the US side as it is an Industrial area?

I was gonna say, my Windsor makes funny noises but its SNAFU on that motor.
