Two Foods I'll Never Stop Eating

I don't really see the issue - mainly how MUCH or HOW BIG potato?
Naturally one of my favorite things - pizza is one of the worse for you. I read the big problem is the crusts. Knowing this I will only let myself order take out pizza about twice a year. I been wanting to try this thing they started a while back , pizza made with a crust of mostly cauliflower. Strange I know. Wife (ex nutritianist/hospital dietician turned school teach long ago) tells me they even have a cauliflower product made to use in place of plain rice. Poor thing, she has so much trouble trying to keep me from the dreaded Cajun/Italian suicide with the fork and spoon! Especially once I retired.
Why? What's the problem with potatoes?
Potatoes are an excellent food.
It's likely not potatoes that are the problem for you, it's the other foods in your diet like ice cream, candy, cakes, donuts, pies, processed foods, breads, etc.
Also can be the way a person uses / preps potatoes. I do avoid french fries.
I don't think the doctors would have a fit. It's all whole foods which IMHO is good.
Keep it up and when you reach age 90, ask the doctors if your food causes them to have a fit.
Personally I'd skip the bacon bits but everything else I'd eat, and I eat these foods every day.
Me too , well almost. So easy to prepare and quick are good reasons also.

I grow a ton of spuds and this year even more no sprays at all but do those taters vanish!!
How do you store them? We have grown quite a few in the past but storing them long term was a challenge for us. Our dark corner in the basement was always a bit too warm....

What's taters, precious? What's taters, eh?
Po-tay-toes!* Boil 'em, mash 'em, stick 'em in a stew...

I've got issues...

There is for my body.
Eating 3-4 eggs a day lowered my cholesterol from 248 to I used to have to wear glasses when I drove my car in Tennessee but no more.
I outgrew them and the day came when I could see better without them.
Confirmed by my eye MD.
Eggs are a good source for lutein, good for your vision! Plus eggs have lots of collagen. I eat them every morning.

I have very high cholesterol according to the blood tests. That problem went away when we quit testing my cholesterol. I actually ate a very reduced fat diet for three months a couple of decades ago. My cholesterol went up by about 50 points. So, I went back to my regular diet and my cholesterol went back down to a nice, healthy 252.
Stuff like this makes me think. My grandmother went through two quadruple bypass surgeries and her drs forever told her to drink skim milk and only eat margarine and no eggs. I can't help but wonder if that dr recommended diet didn't contribute to her cholesterol problems.

Then there's my dad. He drank whole milk, ate real butter, used half and half in everything, and even ate the fat people would cut off their meats. His blood work/cholesterol was always perfect!

The proof is in the pudding. Eggs are also a great source of selenium, and Se is the major antioxidant mineral, needed to detoxify chemicals in our air and food.

Eggs are also the best source of choline, a member of the B vitamin family that's good for emulsifying blood lipids / fats.

I think most of the egg fanatics are going for the choline to help keep their cholesterol from getting too high or for other reasons such as vision health.
