Truck tug a war.

I think truck tug-o-wars are great. Same for massive burnouts, cutting doughnuts in beach sand, etc. Gotta have a little fun in life.

Before you judge me, do note, I can afford to do it all I want. "To the wall. Mr. LaForge!"

That is one of the funniest videos on Youtube (if you're a gearhead)!

Americans.

They can't afford to buy health insurance (and beg guvmint for help), but they can afford to destroy $30,000 trucks. (rolls eyes)

Two diesel trucks... one gets expensive damage: http://youtu.be/JraXtL9d-uk

Don't worry, the trucks were "designed" to take it.

This thread's a riot.

Truck2 A 2009 automatic Dodge 3500 DRW 4x4 quad cab diesel with a heavy bumper on the front. Tires are ATs with about 50-60% tread.
Both claim to be stone stock mechanically.

I bet a coke that the Ford wins. I believe it is a good deal heavier than the Dodge.

Rednecks with pay checks.

I don't need to know you to argue with you. (For that matter, I don't want to)

You guys can think what you want but you really have no facts to support your opinions. Simply driving your truck can be "abuse". Everything you ever do to your truck causes wear. It's up to you what is acceptable or not.

Would you guys have freaked out the same way if he said he wanted to go to a track and drag race his buddy?

You sure are thick. No need for 'facts' it's pure common sense. Guess it's true. Some people have it. Most people don't!

Hehehe.
I have a 6" 30000 pound tow strap. My friend in his 06 ford wanted to tug o war my 99 chev.
I completely smoked him. Dragged that truck all over the parking lot as his tires spun sending melted asphalt at me rear window shattering it.
Whoever has the best tires will win. Make sure the tow rope is short enough that once the losers tires start spinning the aggregate inst able to arc high.

Ha

Yep. I suppose I did.

Stuff like this shows just how stupid people can be. Two rednecks in my town had to show which one had the bigger truck. Both were diesels, lifted, straight piped, etc. They used a chain tied to the hitch of each truck. One truck started hopping and the chain snapped. The chain went through the back window of one of the trucks and hit the driver's girlfriend.

I suppose that knocked some sense into her??????

I don't really care what someone does with their vehicles, if they want to do a tug of war or drive it off a 20ft cliff, it's their business...

Thank you!

Too many here think they are a self-appointed "nanny" to the motoring public, whether it be what viscosity oil to use, how to drive, how to maintain their vehicles, etc. It just gets nauseating sometimes.

I agree. I only care when someone's stupidity inconveniences me or causes harm to me, a family member, or a friend. Other than that, tug away. A smack to the back of the head with a chain will probably smarten someone up if they survive it.

Or make the gene pool deeper.

Exactly. There needs to be a little less condemnation as this is a case of I bought it, I get to blow it up if I want to...
