Truck tug a war.

Two of my buddies have agreed to to this. Who will win?
Truck 1: A 2012 F350 DRW 4x4 crew cab diesel with heavy bumpers on the front and rear( Ranch Hand replacements) tires are AT Goodyears with about 75% tread.
Truck2 A 2009 automatic Dodge 3500 DRW 4x4 quad cab diesel with a heavy bumper on the front. Tires are ATs with about 50-60% tread.
Both claim to be stone stock mechanically.

I bet a coke that the Ford wins. I believe it is a good deal heavier than the Dodge.

Dumb idea. The dodge should win due to its torque at lower RPMs and stroke. If the PS has a good driver I could win. Traction is key along with technique.

I hope for pavement with various clods of mud or other slippery stuff, so the tires can bind and let loose, and give the rest of the driveline yet more shock.

Whatever rope or chain they use to attach things, they should have a plan for if it snaps and flies towards or through the rear cab window. Of course it'd be funny to use a three foot chain.

The winner will be the one who realizes that he is putting a $30-60k piece of machinery into a "tug-of-war" with another idiot for nothing but an inflated ego, and then wisely decides against it.

If they have nothing better to do with their $30-60k than buy trucks to break stuff, they can send some my way. I have much more productive uses for that money!
