Traded in 2022 Highlander-for 2022 Volvo XC60

Frequent trading is going to happen when large scale items like suspension are overlooked during test drive/before purchase. Probably hard to find something you actually like.

I personally can't imagine how someone otherwise so critical could miss that.

You should probably just stick to what you know and start cycling out Crown Vics every year. At least you'd know what you are getting. You could put a new set of Michelins on every car and you'd still save a boatload!

:D

Awesome!

My sis in law traded her boring 20 Highlander for XC90 it was so so for issues. Then for PHEV XC60 2022 she really likes.
Yes- I have read the XC90s can have issues. The XC60 as stated by some Volvo techs on various forums are their least troublesome model.

I really like the XC60. It is right sized and the lines on it are well done. I’ve been scared of newer ones because the technology is running ahead of my own firmware.

Very nice! My wife leased a 1991 740 Turbo; it was solidly built, reliable, and it surprised more than a few poor souls at the Stop Light Grand Prix.

Nice color inside and out. Some of these have the white upholstered steering wheel, which looks terrible after not too long. Your interior will look much better long-term.

Very nice vehicle, congrats. Is that one assembled in china or Sweden? If China, that would be my only gripe about it. Solid vehicle otherwise.

The nice thing about most Toyota models is that they’re very easy to use unload if you don’t like it.

This one was made in Sweden.

I know a guy who is tracking his 740 estate here. He pulled out all the seats, insulation, etc., out of the car. I think he is at some 3,100 lbs. There is no way I can catch up with him on track (he also upgraded his suspension). But seeing 740 estate on track is a sight!

Many feel Toyota is coasting on its past reputation- and not putting the refinement in they used to have.
My first Toyota was a 1981 4x4 with hand crank windows, manual locks, manual steering, no AC, four speed manual transmission and a straight front axle. Refinement is not something I ever expected from Toyota LOL.

A very nice upgrade. I have yet to drive or ride in a Toyota I like, the only reason to buy them is for reliability....but I've found other makes to be perfectly reliable so I don't see the point in owning one.
Have you driven a Highlander?

My boss has a 2021 Highlander Platinum. I hate to admit how much I liked it when I’ve driven it.

I had an XLE for two years put 20,000 miles on it. The Platinum has some stiffer sway bars that might be am improvement from the Buick ride of the 1970s that's on the XLE.

I have not, anytime I've seen one on the rental car lot there was something more appealing. Next time I see one I might have to check it out. From memory, I've had a Sequoia, Rav4, Tacoma, 4Runner...not counting all the Corollas and Camrys.
