It will indicate how clean the oil filter is keeping the oil. It won't give you a xx% @ yy microns efficiency number. But you can compare the ISO particle count data between different oil filters to see which ones keep the oil cleaner.

To see if I am tracking .... I could run a 5k interval with an OEM Toyota, Fram TG3614 and a Wix XP and then compare ISO particle count numbers?

Yes, doing the test on the same engine with the same oil used in all cases. Fresh oil and filter in each case. Keep as many variables the same except for the filters used. Use the same lab for each of the ISO particle counts.
