Tomato and Onion sandwich

Anybody else eat this delicacy, love mine with thick cut red onion and fresh tomato, whole wheat bread with some mustard, neighbor mom made me one when I would be over playing with the neighbor kids, one bite and I was hooked, been eating them for the last 55 yrs.

Bread looks good, tomato and onions look nice and fresh...I love mustard...but I think I would need some sliced turkey to complete that sammich!

Looks tasty. I grew up eating a variation of this with Italian bread, red onion, tomato, olive oil and oregano.

I may try your recipe with the mustard.

I used to eat a lot of those back in the day, sans mustard, but with a bit of unsalted butter instead. Still eat them once in a while, but with a slice of ham or salami and a slice of pepperjack, usually.
