Tokyo Roki PE01-14-302B July 13, 2019 Miles: 5340 Time in service: 11 weeks Factory Fill 0W20 [Linked Image] Photo #1 Exterior view [Linked Image] Photo #2 Overview [Linked Image] Photo #3 Base plate exterior [Linked Image] Photo #4 Base plate interior [Linked Image] Photo #5 Filter thread end [Linked Image] Photo #6 Filter dome end - Bypass valve [Linked Image] Photo #7 Media at the clipped seam. [Linked Image] Photo #8 Media opposite the seam The filter removal tool did some damage to the can. I was able to finesse the filter out without damaging it. Kudos to the Mazda mechanic for minimal damage. Build quality of this part is excellent. Pleats were nicely spaced, potting glue minimal, no ADBV and the bypass valve is an interesting design. I had to move the roller bearings on the filter cutter to cut it open. Overall, I'm impressed with the filter even though it is very small. Enjoy the pics!!!

I'm going to guess that the Mazda dealership put on a Thailand made Roki filter which should be pretty much the same. That would be a interesting cut and post comparison. That is the same filter I am currently using.

I believe your current filter is the value filter from Mexico. In either case it will still be a good comparison.
