I have been researching the UPF48R filter; more or less an upgrade to the PF48, what would you compare it to? Would you pass on it for around $10 and go right to a D+, NP, or the upcoming Purolator Synthetic?
The application is for a brand new 2011 Chevy Suburban w/ the AFM Vortech 5.3. We are going to be running SN PU 5w30 after we dump the FF around 5k miles. 80/20 highway to city miles, 60 miles a day highway for the commute to work.
