Those with 150,000 miles or more, check in

You're doing all that in a MB ML320??

Yes sir, these are extremely tough little SUV's. No one, at least in the USA, uses them for what they can be used for. Now there is a fair bit of what it has towed that is not legal and I have been pushed through a stop light or 3 (or 4). Here is a picture of the rear of the poor thing. The busted brittle rear bumper can be taken was proof as it was busted up by backing into trailers, lol. She's not pretty any more and she is getting tired but she'll crank up today and work her a$$ off. Lot of ware on that hitch ball, lol.....

I wonder if you can upgrade the brakes so that it's a little less dangerous to tow. Going through a spot light is pretty scary.

433,433 miles...
Died today. Cvt transmission finally went. Starts, moves but is doing the rpm dip as gas is applied. Its okay stuff happens.... 😢. Rack and steering were getting shaky, still leaked, rust, cracked windshield, etc. It is what it is. Im sad 😔 but its gonna be okay. Hopefully Peugeot will demo me a car, not getting another Honda unless its a motorcycle 🏍️ or dirt bike 🚲

Oh man, I’ve been following your mileage. Sorry to hear this. Lots of good service from this vehicle. Good for you to keep up with the maintenance.

🪦 RIP …

Currently MB E320 with OM642 Diesel with 165k miles. Only problem was an intake temp sensor failure. Easy fix.
We keep them a long time.
Past and sold or traded:
1992 MB 300D 2.5 Turbo - 348k miles engine running solid when sold.
1997 Blazer 4.3 - 220k miles when sold running. Had to replace rusted fuel lines.
1989 Wrangler 258 - 185k miles when sold running. Had to replace rusted brake lines.
1987 Cherokee 4.0 - 237k miles when sold running.
1985 MB 240D - 352k miles when sold running.

RIP. Was really pulling for you for 500k and beyond. You gave it a good run.

What is next for you do you think?

2002 Ml320, nothing but T6 for the last 250,000 (😂😂😂). For the last 75k miles it has been pulling something from a 4,500# boat to a 100hp log chipper to a small’ish backhoe (11,000# or so). Had the crap beat out of it, if it would pull it, it was done it. Has spent hours on the interstate in 4th gear with the pedal resting on the kick down switch. Toughest vehicle I’ve ever had.

My daughter ran a 320 to just under 300k. Her only key fob stopped working and then lost the physical key. She ended up donating it. The engine and transmission still ran smooth as silk. Solid driving vehicle on a frame. MB really got that one right. It had 0-40 Mobil 1 it’s whole life.
