Those with 150,000 miles or more, check in

425,000 on 12.25

Shortly after that I looked down and it was almost 80° here in Wichita

2011 Ford Ranger, 4.0 SOHC, 187,000+ miles

Bought it in 2021 with 101,000 miles. Switched to Amsoil Signature Edition 5W-30 and Amsoil filters and change oil and filter every 10,000 miles. Amsoil lube is in the rear axle as well.

2003 Toyota 4Runner V6 with 218k miles. Picked it up two months ago. I’m running some Valvoline Restore and Protect 5W30 in it. Unknown oil intervals. But the 1GR purrs like a kitten. Hoping it’ll last me 200k more!
Great truck and great engine. Running 4 intervals of Valvoline Restore and Protect 5W-30 through it is a great idea. I'm doing the same on my 5VZ-FE with questionable oil service history.

Just clocked over 180,000 miles in my 2011 Tacoma (purchased new in January 2011).

Oil consumption is minor, with most OCI not requiring any new oil - sometimes I’ll add 1/4 quart or so…. The consumption seems random.

My oil consumption after treating the car with rislone engine treatment for three oil changes is 1 pint every 3000 miles i usually change every 5000 miles. Been using Providence 10w30 and a carquest filter

2007 Honda Civic EX coupe with the great little R18 engine with 220,000 miles on it and this little car runs great! I use currently use Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5w30 and change it at 4,000 miles. I started using the Pennzoil Ultra Platinum when it came out back in the mid 2010s I believe, but it’s had Pennzoil from the jump!
I use this same oil in all my vehicles and just buy it in a 3 pack of 5 qt jugs on Amazon!
I run the Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5w30 in my 07 Civic, my 2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD OffRoad, my 2024 Mazda MX-5 Club and my old ladies 2025 Mazda CX50 and they all do very well with it! I’ve never had a single oil/lubrication related issue in any of my vehicles and I’ve had a lot of them! I feel very confident in this oil and the 5w30 variant living in the south and not having to worry about huge fluctuations in ambient temperatures throughout the year.

03 escalade 330k miles
07 sierra classic 2500 around 300k.

Both got quick lube changes their whole life, the 07 was a company truck has essentially 0 highway miles on it... those pretty much sold me on the 6.0l gm gasser engines. That 07 was (and still is) operated with the gas pedal as an on off switch... (those miles weren't done by me. They were moms/dad's respectively.)

2002 Ml320, nothing but T6 for the last 250,000 (😂😂😂). For the last 75k miles it has been pulling something from a 4,500# boat to a 100hp log chipper to a small’ish backhoe (11,000# or so). Had the crap beat out of it, if it would pull it, it was done it. Has spent hours on the interstate in 4th gear with the pedal resting on the kick down switch. Toughest vehicle I’ve ever had.

My folks have a 1997 Tahoe, 5.7 v8, owned since 2002. Currently has 297,000 miles. Last 10 years or so it was retired to solely snow removal duty. Has had a steady diet of “whatever 5w30 is on sale” mostly synthetic blends, occasionally conventional or full synthetic. Most recently has gotten the “random leftovers” treatment.

I have a 2014 Silverado 1500 5.3 with 184,000. I have the full service history. Steady diet of AC Delco Dexos 0w20 done by the dealer until my ownership 3 years and 30,000 miles ago. Now it also gets what’s on sale, both 0w20 and 5w20. Will be switching to 5w30 when the stash of the 0w20 and 5w20 is gone
