One of life's inflection points.
Starting the process of leaving suburbia, and decreasing storage, heading towards the city and places warmer. Between that and I just do not have the same enthusiasm for working on certain vehicles that I once had, time to thin the herd and let others enjoy them. Selling these vehicles and other toys. Will be posting give-aways also as this project progresses.
I will list the vehicles and provide brief descriptions, but due to my OCD nature there are too many details for here and I will summarize; all are maintained as they should with the highest quality parts I could locate, everything works on them and all are mostly original save for sensible upgrades (Roverdrive, additional gauges, various electrical, etc.) No salt driving since I have owned them and the LR 90 and BMW came from salt free areas. PM for full descriptions of condition, the work done and the many spares for each as they are too long to, list here.
Probably not many here interested in these oddballs, but here we go:
1985 Land Rover 90 2.5NA French Spec (imported in 2013), ~80K miles, ~6K on overhauled engine and transmission. Solid but patinaed, no significant corrosion, Excellent driver, capable of highway travel in the right lane. Asking $30K
1972 and Rover Series III ~80K miles, original drivetrain with Roverdrive. Solid and safe 50 footer w/ some corrosion on the aluminum tub, frame repaired. Solid and great driver for what it is; not really a highway vehicle. It will do it, but not fun. Restore or drive as is. Asking $17K
1974 BMW 2002 running project. Shows ~50K miles and general condition supports that, but odo is intermittent so I cannot support that mileage. Running with an upper rap, piston slap, (frustratingly on a rebuild!), and we are halfway through build of a new engine to a much higher spec but still completely streetable engine. Essentially to the Euro spec. Very original car....very fun car. There are really good, practical nice weather daily drivers with character. Asking $24K as is.
Further details and extensive pics available via PM.
