Pennzoil Gold & Motorcraft are both great synthetic blends. Gold is 50% synthetic & Motorcraft is 60% synthetic. I've had experience with both & both do great in my Fords.

Fram Tough Guards are always good too.

Surprised im first to suggest this (unless i missed a post) but why not Supertech full syn for 17.xx$ per 5qt jug?? That with a fram TG and ur good to go.

I have noticed multiple people on BITOG say Motorcraft is 60% synthetic. And I figured it had to have a lot of synthetic in it, seeing as how Ford's OLM could run you all the way to 10,000 miles on the Motorcraft blend.

Could well be... I just did a search for their msds and not much there. I see your running the Pennzoil Gold Synthetic blend. I'm actually running that now too. I have used it once before and was very happy with it.

I'm surprised no one has ran and uoa'd the MC 0W20 unless its rare as getting it at dealer only LOL! May just use some of the 10+ quarts of smittys 5w30

The QSUD does not seem to keep the engine as clean. I see this in two of my engines.

Why Doesn't it keep the engine clean?

I see a little varnish starting (very little) that was not there with the Motorcraft... I see this in two engines. I will report back after i change back to mc or change to pennzoil for 5,000 miles.. Pennzoil seems to clean very well also.

On one of my trucks running pennzoil for around 70,000 miles the engine is spotless, Same engine and oci 5000-6000 miles.

Interesting.. I was going to use QSUD. I guess I'll use M1 EP instead.....

What planet are you on that you actually believe this nonsense.

Iirc, Pennzoil states the 50% on the bottle. But where does the Motorcraft 60% come from?

No, mostly ignoring you I think.

Evidence that QSUD is not a good choice of oil. Varnish leads to sludge.
