Right now my plan of attack is to deny I went on red, but not accuse the cop of lying, i'll say that I can understand why he could have been mistaken, because the light was so short I barely had enough time to safely make the turn, nor could I stop because of the speed I was going. I'll bring the printed articles, highlight any specific points I want to stand out, maybe take a video of the light on my phone (so the judge can see how short it is for himself) and point out what the correct time is supposed to be.
If anyone has any idea where I can find or where I can go to get information on exactly how they figure out timing (from an official source) or view the traffic regulations for my city, i'd really appreciate it. I have no idea where I could go, and i've been on a few web sites for traffic (gov sites) but havent found a good link of a handbook or anything.
