The Ideal Uber Vehicle?

We have tons of Tesla cars as Uber, not much snow thou, may be a week each year in the city. Many Toyota hybrids too.
About a fourth of my 95 mile airport runs are in a Tesla - they tend to get there quicker …
Rear seat ride is not great in any of them - Tahoe’s are better

If [older] Tahoes are better than Teslas for rear seat ride, that’s bad! Ours rode like a pickup with a beam rear axle, because it was.

But the Tahoes can charge Limousine rates.

Had a very interesting ride with a guy who owned a Sienna minivan. He could carry four or more in comfort, and could charge “X” rates. He said the city of Boston had a $6,500 rebate for EV ‘s at one point, And decreed taxis be hybrids.

This man owned a restaurant just outside Boston and wasn’t busy during the day. So he could pick up $200-400 a day, without getting far from his place.

Tahoe’s have 4WIS now - I own both - big difference
Yes, Tesla’s with the stiff tires don’t ride great in back

As both driver and [passenger - Ford Transit high top van w/interior conversion (leather etc) on 22" wheels. :D
I have seen these in use a a transport van. The Amish get wheeled around in them regularly.

This would be a great choice for moving groups.

All this talk about comfort and economy......
I was thinking about hosing out barf. You know, vinyl seats + flooring with drain holes.

Happy St. Patrick's Day (get it?)

SERIUOS RESOPONSE: Are there vehicles "so bad" that Uber (etc.) has data on passengers reacting negatively upon seeing their ride?
I have left negative feedback twice on stinking, filthy cars. One was a well-used Ford Taurus that needed scrubbing top to bottom. The other stunk, maybe it was the driver. In most cases, the cars are newish, well-maintained and pleasant. I have noticed in may area quite a few 300,000 plus mile CRV's in shaky condition. If I were driving, that is what I would choose. The fact of the matter is that UBER has reduced the driver compensation, and many drivers are completely missing the depreciation and maintenance component of this "job."

UBER is a data company, and you can be sure that they know plenty about their drivers and customers.

Every U/L car alive ever been in is in better condition than Boston cabs. Driver quality is a wash.

At one point considered signing up and only driving when it was snowing out. But recently that would be like five days. The driver deal with those companies seems exploitive but that’s up to them.

As a driver it would be a Toyota Crown Signia or the Camry Hybrid.

As a passenger it would be a passenger Toyota Crown Signia. or the Camry Hybird.

Discloser own a Toyota Crown Signia XLE it is a very comfortable ride with a fair amount of room for road trips.
I like everything about the Toyota Crown. What a nice, classy car. Congrats to you.

Camry Hybrid. Prius is too small. Rough ride for passengers.
The Prius is practically the national car of Georgia (the country), so we rode in a few (Bolt) while there.
We did an all-day private wine tour in one with just us and our driver/guide.
Wasn't bad at all, although the roads, even in the countryside outside of Tbilisi among the vineyards and wineries, would put most of those here to shame.

Was it a newer one? I haven’t ridden in the newer ones.

I’ve ridden in 4-5 Prius Uber/Lyfts and they were all really harsh riding.
