Its kinda nice, just leave your key in your pocket.
I found a key to my Camry, looks old. Works in the ignition ok but one side doesn’t unlock the door. Key is worn out. Nothing lasts forever.

Keys are relatively cheap and easy to replace. At least on my vehicles which are all old.
Yep, this worn out one will be too. Not sure about some of these laser cut ones. But not sure what a fob goes for either.
If money was no object I’d just have new, and enjoy the new tech. Old tech isn’t bad, it is enjoyable in its own way.
