Happy Monday all!
Wondering if Techron will help direct-injection gas engines like my Speed 3's I'm guessing yes , since the orifices and clearances are tighter.

TIA
Jorge

Yes and no. It will clean the injectors and the rest of the fuel system, but it will never touch the intake valves so it will do nothing for the intake valve deposits which plague DI engines.

Unless you inject it in the intake.

Now don't get me wrong; I'm not saying the valves will be super clean but it can help some. Google can find it for you if you search for the right words. I think where I read about this was in a book readable through Google Books.

A lot of swirling and reversion goes on in the combustion chambers, so some of the cleaners reach the intake valves. Red Line SL-1 has been said to have cleaners that partially survive the combustion process and get routed through the PCV system back past the intake valves. So their are two ways for the cleaners to reach the intake valves: reversion and through PCV system.

I did a lot of searching and didn't find anything worth posting a link to. I'm not sure if I was right or mistaken in my memory of what I read. Feel free to disregard my former post.

Like JAG said, there will be some incidental valve cleaning .
The combustion chamber side will be helped a lot - valve, head, and pistons, as well as the fuel system and injectors.
