Synthetic?

I have a 2013 Kia Soul 2.0 with 5500 miles on it, when is it ok too start using synthetic oil?

Right, because if he didn't change to syn "asap", he wouldn't be able to keep it a long time and it wouldn't be well protected......

The right now, I think 5K miles on the dino oil is enough to "break it in". I would go with QSUD 5w20 or 5w30. Depending on your climate.
